Since 2018, I have specialised in employment law. My career as a lawyer began at Houthoff, a large internationally oriented law firm in Amsterdam. I worked on large, complex cases and in international teams, often under considerable time pressure. That environment shaped my way of working: hard work, sharp analysis and strategic forward thinking, because there are high stakes in the courtroom.

At the same time, I believe that sustainable solutions can often be achieved not only legally, but also on a personal level. Based on that conviction, I quickly understand what my client – and equally the other party – needs in order to reach the desired outcome. As a result, I regularly succeed in breaking deadlocked negotiations and avoiding proceedings, without making any concessions to my client's core interests. Since setting up my own law firm at the end of 2023, I have been providing intensive support not only to employers but also to employees. This interaction always provides valuable insights on both sides of the employment law fence. Whether I am advising an employer or assisting an employee in a serious conflict, ultimately it is the concrete impact of a won case that gives the most meaning to the work.
